Approach

Diagnosis first, then priorities and an action plan

An audit lets you look at the account as one sales process. We check not only the individual settings, but also how the offer, the price, the advertising, product availability, delivery and after-sales service depend on each other.

The result is an ordered list of recommendations - from errors that need a fast response, through easy optimisations, to work that supports further scaling of sales.

Sales path

At which stage are you losing potential orders?

  1. 01

The product never goes on sale

We check the offers awaiting approval, rejected, inactive or blocked, and the reasons behind the problems with publishing them.

  2. 02

The product is live, but hard to find

We analyse the category, attributes, title, variants and the completeness of the data that shapes how the offer is presented.

  3. 03

The customer sees the offer but does not choose it

We compare the price, photos, description, delivery terms and product presentation against the competition.

  4. 04

Advertising brings traffic, but not sales

We check whether the campaigns promote the right products and whether their price, margin and product page create the conditions for conversion.

  5. 05

The order comes in, but the process creates problems

We analyse cancellations, delays, stock updates, documents, shipping and how orders flow between systems.

  6. 06

The sale ends in a return or a complaint

We check the reasons for returns and assess whether the source could be the description, the photos, the product variant, picking or delivery.

Trendyol distinguishes between approved, pending, rejected, inactive, blocked and withdrawn products, among others. Submitting a product does not mean it is published - once it is submitted, an approval process starts, and where there are errors you can read the reason for rejection.

The platform also shares detailed return reasons, covering among others a product that does not match its presentation, the wrong product being sent, a missing part, a damaged parcel or a late delivery. That lets the audit look for the source of the problem instead of only quoting a total number of returns.

Scope

What do we check in the audit?

We analyse the account across eight areas - from publishing offers to integrations and data flow.

01

Account health and configuration

We analyse the settings, metrics, statuses and operational risks. We point out what needs fixing and where you could make better use of the features available.

02

Product catalogue status

We check how many products are active, pending, rejected, blocked or invisible. We analyse the reasons behind the problems with publishing.

03

Offers and product visibility

We assess the categories, attributes, titles, descriptions, photos and variant structure. We point out changes that can improve presentation and make the products easier to find.

04

Range and sales potential

We check which products are worth developing, advertising or launching first. We also look for missing variants, bundles and product groups.

05

Competition, prices and profitability

We compare prices, promotions, delivery terms and the way competing offers are presented. We factor in commission, logistics, returns and the ad budget.

06

Trendyol Ads and promotions

We analyse the campaign structure, product selection, spend and the sales attributed to ads. We point out the campaigns that need to be scaled back, rebuilt or given a bigger budget.

07

Orders, logistics and returns

We check cancellations, fulfilment time, the shipping process, status updates and the reasons for returns. We look for problems that drive costs and damage the customer experience.

08

Integrations, stock and data flow

We verify how orders, prices and stock levels are synchronised between Trendyol, your shop, ERP or OMS. We point out the places that generate errors or unnecessary manual work.

Once products are approved, some key data can only be edited to a limited extent - the brand, the category, the product identifier and certain variant attributes, among others. That is why an audit of catalogue structure can also uncover problems that no simple edit to the description will fix.

Warning signs

It is worth analysing the account when:

  • some products have not been approved or are not visible
  • sales are concentrated in a small part of the catalogue
  • campaigns generate spend, but their profitability is hard to judge
  • products get impressions, but few orders
  • the number of returns or cancellations is starting to climb
  • stock levels and prices are not updating correctly
  • offers were moved over from another marketplace with little adaptation
  • it is unclear which products are worth developing
  • the team keeps fixing the same recurring errors by hand
  • the account is meant to run on further Trendyol markets

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the Trendyol account audit

Yes. In that case we focus on the configuration, catalogue structure, offer quality, prices, competition, logistics and getting the account ready to start selling. Analysis of campaigns, conversion and returns becomes possible once the data has built up.

The level of access depends on the areas being analysed. We deliver the best audit when we get access to your seller account. If your sales are handled through an OMS or an integrator, we may also ask for data on synchronisation.

That depends on the size of the catalogue and the scope we agree. On smaller accounts we can analyse everything, and with large catalogues we combine an aggregate analysis with a close review of representative product groups.

Yes. We analyse offer statuses and the rejection reasons that are available. We point out which data needs fixing and whether the problem is with the category, the brand, the attributes, the variants or other parts of the documentation.

Yes, provided campaigns are running on the account and enough data history is available. We check the campaign structure, product selection, spend, sales and how ad costs relate to margin.

Yes. We analyse the return reasons available and look for problems that keep repeating. They can come from an imprecise description, the photos, incorrect picking, damage or delivery delays, among other things.

Yes. The report can serve as a plan for your team or as a starting point for working together further. We can take over things like fixing the offers, account configuration, ad campaigns, integrations and process automation.

We check whether orders, prices, stock levels and statuses are exchanged correctly between Trendyol and the systems you use. If we find problems, we point out their likely source and the recommended way to diagnose them further.

The scope depends on the number of products, the account history, the markets in use, the campaigns and the systems connected to your sales. Before we start, we agree the areas to analyse, the data needed and the deliverable you will receive.
